The dedication of our educators extends far beyond the classroom—arriving early to prepare, spending time at home researching, reflecting together during their breaks, and staying late to ensure every child receives the most thoughtful and engaging learning experiences, day after day.
They are constantly innovating to create an experience where children thrive. Even as the school year progresses, they are already working hard to shape now an inspiring summer for both new and returning students. Their commitment is relentless, and their passion is unmatched.
So this Teacher Week, we are carving out something outside of the work-week, just for them—an exclusive Teachers-Only Beach Club designed to refresh and recharge our incredible elite. This week, we will make sure their classrooms are stocked with what they need for the upcoming summer season with their babies, while stocking them with what they need to unwind this summer, too!
We hope to take a little of their load off—a little love, just for their club.
How can I appreciate my teachers this week with Reggio?
Reggio has provided a wide-variety of ways for families to help in this year's Teacher Appreciation Week so you can find a way to show gratitude that is preferred for you and your family. Please understand that these are options that have diversified over the years as parents requested support on "how can I help show love?", *none of these are required*!
Have any other ideas or creative decor or ways we could use this year's theme of 'Teachers Only Beach Club' creatively? Throw them our way, let's make it happen!

Beach Bags
For Teacher Week at Reggio, Teachers are welcomed into work to a "gift box" every year, just for them. This is where they are gifted with 5 days worth of daily surprises. This year, their "box" will be a BEACH BAG to be filled in accordance with their theme. In previous years, we have used collections from parents to gift teachers with little snacks, personal care items, classroom materials, teacher supplies, personalized items, love notes, items from local vendors, and so much more! While Reggio already has some fun things to put in these BEACH BAGS for our teachers, parents will also be invited to contribute to them as well. All sponsors will be publicly recognized to communicate your support to teachers!
We ask that parents who want to sponsor tangible items for the bags to please have 23 to be sure each basket gets one, please sneak these to Ms. Campbell by April 20th!
If you would like for us to shop on your behalf, you can Venmo @Candice-Schoolman by April 20th so our admin can do so!

Show Love Privately
One of the most beloved gifts a teacher can receive is knowing an adult took time to work one-on-one with a child to create something special. Anything sentimental or done with love is the most valued treasure a teacher can have, especially with this year's theme!
A handmade craft or personal act of kindness will make each of our teachers feel appreciated!
Please do not feel obligated for group gives if you have your own idea of how to show appreciation personally.

Families Pull-Off Teacher Week at Reggio & Co.
Year after year, parents team up with Reggio & Co. and transform the facility in magical ways to honor the team of teachers we show gratitude. Take a look at how we have celebrated during our iconic, spirited week-of-the-teacher in years past:
You Are Magic
This year's Teacher Appreciation Week was particularly meaningful as it unfolded during the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing us to host a virtual celebration while our team worked from home and missed our students dearly. To honor our dedicated teachers, we started a new tradition of giving, where each day they would open their daily magic boxes together. The excitement peaked on the fifth day when teachers were invited to collect their big boxes at school, greeted by a heartwarming car parade of over 65 vehicles from our supportive community. This event truly highlighted the love and appreciation we have for our teachers and the strong bonds we, even from a distance.

I Sea You
This year, our school celebrated with the theme "a smooth sea never made skilled sailors," the challenges our educators faced returning to the classroom post-COVID. Each day, teachers were surprised with treasures from their treasure boxes, which included nautical-themed school supplies and a fun beach day road trip. Parents submitted heartfelt videos expressing their gratitude and recognition of the hard work and of our amazing teachers and on the final day, teachers were presented with an "I Sea You" video.

Wild Things
Educators were honored for how much further they were embracing more unconventional approach to the nature-based, and play-based, philosophy for our program! This week features vibrant animal-themed classroom materials and inspiring children's books that spark curiosity and creativity. With natural supplies designed to encourage outdoor learning, teachers can take their classrooms beyond the walls. Of course they each got framed photos of each educator's favorite "wild things".

Too Infinity and Beyond
Our incredible teachers received their very own "Andy's Box," filled with heartfelt gifts from parents, including toys for their classrooms and a special Etch-a-Sketch featuring all the students' names. On a magical weekend, parents transformed the lobby a stunning replica of Andy's room, leaving our teachers in awe with one of the best-decorated Teacher Weeks ever! As Woody says, “Over there in that house is a kid who thinks you are the greatest, and it’s not because you’re a Space Ranger, pal." - our families were grateful and we made sure the teachers felt that!

Hygge
For our delightful Hygge-themed Teacher Week, we celebrated the joy of how our teachers embrace simple pleasures in the classroom! They were gifted homemade goods and experiences, including a cozy paint night to enjoy at home, simmer pots to create warm scents, and handmade candles to brighten their spaces. A collection of cherished recipes were collected from members in our community and gifted in a cook-book. Propagated plants from beloved mother plants of those in our families' homes were given as well. They truly celebrated the teachers' ability to slow down savor the little moments together!
