Developmental Milestones
Reggio teachers utilize developmentally appropriate practice as a valuable tool to set expectations for their students and guide classroom instruction. By understanding the age-appropriate milestones and abilities of children at various stages of development, teachers create learning experiences that align with their students' current capabilities.

Our teaching team considers the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of development to ensure that learning opportunities are relevant and engaging for their students. This approach supports individual growth, fosters a positive learning environment, and enables teachers to scaffold instruction effectively, meeting students where they are and guiding them towards their next developmental milestones.

Reggio does not believe in the "race" to any "top". Students' learning processes are compared to their own baselines in references to what is developmentally appropriate for them
